LET'S DIVIDE CHILDREN BY CLASS

Play OK- not great but my 3 year old daughter loved it! However at the end there are big balls for keepy-uppy and bubbles thrown out to the audience. However only involves those in the stalls and left all of the children sitting in the circle devastated and many in tears. My three yeat old daughter asked me why the children downstairs were more special and I had to reply that balls were probably a bit dangerous for the circle but as for the bubbles.... there was no excuse i could. Quite simply I had to explain that the parents of the kids at the bottom had more money and could afford the better seats.

A BIT INSENSITIVE

I took my grandson to see Bluey in Glasgow yesterday. Focussing on sisters was very insensitive to those who have no siblings. My grandson desperately wants a sister (or brother) so does her Mum and Dad but it isn’t possible. The story went on and on about how great sisters were. Another storyline surely could have been more inclusive and sensitive. We were seated in the rear circle and when the balls were thrown into the audience, for obvious reasons the children in the cheaper seats couldn’t touch the balls. Perhaps some further up could have been thrown or even something else? The tickets were expensive which wasn’t an issue but I didn’t expect to have an upset six year old to console after the show so I regret buying them now. He’s still an avid fan though.
